Who is Erin?
I’m Erin Fitzgerald, a fitness and wellness professional who’s passionate about helping people feel confident and capable in their own bodies. I hold a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Illinois State University and have a background in personal training, group fitness, and senior fitness. I take a whole-person approach to wellness because I believe movement should be accessible, inclusive, spark joy, and something you can stick with long term.
My experience goes beyond just fitness. I’m a Certified Wellness Program Coordinator, I hold a Project Management Certificate, and I recently earned my Adult Mental Health First Aid certification. These tools help me create meaningful wellness programs that support both physical and mental well-being.
I grew up in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, and moved to Tampa in 2017 to grow personally and professionally. From 2018 to 2022, I worked in senior living as a Life Enrichment Assistant and later opened a brand-new community as a Life Enrichment Director, designing engaging lifestyle programs for older adults. Most recently, I served as an Employee Health Program Specialist for the City of St. Petersburg, where I developed health and wellness initiatives for a diverse group of City employees.
Now, I’m preparing for my next chapter in Cincinnati. I'm currently on the lookout for a wellness role that aligns with my values around inclusive, holistic health. While I’m stepping back from personal training for now, I’m excited about the wellness offerings I’ll be launching soon.
When I’m not working, I’m usually out exploring nature, learning something new at the library, or making meaningful memories with my spouse and our pup, Auggie.
I’m here to help create spaces where people can feel good, grow at their own pace, and build a lifestyle that supports their well-being.
Cultivating wellness and inspiring growth is what I do best. 🌿
